Participation in an emergency net is different from the normal day-by-day net activity. Beside the added stress and emotional problems developed during a disaster, operators are placed in a precarious situation when trying to serve and perform in a professional manner. If one is familiar with emergency net procedures, there will be a better chance of reducing this problem.
